All earthquake alerts are based on public seismic data, and your settings remain only on your device.

📍 Location & alerts

If you grant location permission, the app accesses your approximate location solely to display relevant alerts on the map. This location is:

• Never stored on any server.
• Never saved to any database.
• Used only locally to center the map and show nearby earthquakes in real time.
• You can deny location — the app still shows global quakes.

🔒 How we use & share

Nothing to share. Since we collect zero information, there is no data to sell, rent, or transfer. The app connects directly to public seismic services (USGS, EMSC) to fetch earthquake data — no personal data is included in those requests.

🔐 Storage & retention

All preferences (like alert threshold, favorite regions) are stored locally on your device and never transmitted. No cloud retention, no logs. If you uninstall the app, everything is erased.

🧒 Children

Because the app collects no information, it is safe for all ages. We do not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
